apoplectic, I did not know this word until now!

In high school, every time we stuck a fancy adjective in our essays– apoplectic, scintillating, effervescent, gargantuan, you name it — our English teachers let out Hallelujahs of praise. Yay, she used an adjective! (No wonder why we all overdosed on those noun accessories.)
