As a former male science teacher, I must emphasize that not all women stepped aside but were PUSHED, kicked, thrown, and pulled aside. Who discovered the double helix? Francis Crick and James Watson? Hogwash. If anybody doesn’t know the book, please look up Rosalind Franklin. She was the first to actually see it in the X-ray images she took, later stolen from her. I wonder how many women like Rosalind had their rightful places in history stolen…
