For me, it’s a mix of passion, exercise of self-discipline, and labour of love—almost like parenting but without the stress of driving it across town for your kid’s piano and dancing lessons. I think it’s more like cooking for myself everyday. Sone days I want to make a 5-course meal and other days I’m content (or cuz I’m too tired) to just make myself a buttery omelette. I’m on Day 11 of my self-inflicted 14-day writing challenge, and I’m running out of eggs. Lol
