Hi, I haven’t finished reading your article which is of great interest to me (as a student of anthropology and as a human being), but I wanted to add my take on the word “ignorance” in this context. Would be thrilled to get your opinion on it but not expected.

Ignorance is when people try to make a point of being superior over someone else on the foundation of falsehood that the offender believes to be true without fact-checking.
