Hi Mary! thanks so much for accepting my post and commenting! For the record, I now enjoy Taiwanese chou-doufu (“stinky tofu”) although it took three tries to acquire the taste. They are distinctly different in smell, taste, and texture. Natto is more like mild blue cheese. But everyone’s got a slightly different take on it. Maybe I’ll write about chou-doufu as a free topic for your publication after I move there so I can take proper photos of it. lol
