I live in Kyoto, Japan, but i take myself on an occasional date, maybe once in a quarter, to a French crepe cafe in my area. I take my iPad to sketch (and read Medium stories) and my camera there after a nice long walk in the woods on the way there. I sketch things I’ve taken photos of that lose some of their initial attractiveness captured through the camera lens. The nice French roast espresso and salmon/fresh salad crepe dish makes the date unromantically romantic! Heheh
