I think that as non-"native"-English speakers, we should take pride in our use of a foreign language on a foreign-language platform. (My use of "native" is meant to describe speakers whose domestic culture has always been English and their family background goes back to their English-speaking ancestors from what is today's UK or at least the early English-speaking settlers of America.) Even if my use of English were perfect -- which it obviously isn't -- I've still missed out on volumes of collocations that one could more easily learn growing up in "culturally English" households. My opinion only. lol
