Skepticism is at the core of science, even when science says it has figured out everything. For me, my emotion is the gust of wind that blows into my sails. It can push my boat one way or another. But as long as I have firm control of my rudder -- my values, self-esteem, and integrity all rolled into one -- then I can navigate straight to where I want to go.
