The one wish I have about the Academy Awards is that even if the sitting POTUS of a particular year/term happens to be someone who stands for everything opposite of the ideals championed by the founding fathers, institutions like the Academy should grab the torch and lead the US and all those that have looked up to her toward a future where, as you brilliantly stated, "marginalized people can receive opportunities and recognition for the manifold stories that have not yet been told."
